How Do I Print Letterhead On the First Page Only Of a Multi-Page Document?

How do I limit the header and footer to just the first page for a multi-page document? And yet have the page numbers print on all subsequent pages?

I understand that business letterhead should be printed on the first page ONLY of a multi-page document/correspondence.

I am using a MacBook Pro 16′ and also MBP 13. OS 10.15.6

Pages version 10.0

Use sections. The first page should be section 1. You can assign the master page elements to that section only. Then all other pages will be in section 2, with a different master page with different elements.

Each section can pick up page numbering from the last or start at a new number.
