We were getting many notifications from calendar. In an effort to limit them our calendar was deleted. We have a brand new time machine disk, but can’t / don’t know how to retrieve our calendar/ data.
Any suggestions are most welcome. Margaret

Was it an iCloud calendar? If so, go to iCloud.com. Log in with your iCloud account. Then go to your name at the top right and click on it and choose Account Settings. Scroll down to Advanced and you'll find Restore Calendars. Click on that and see if your deleted calendar is there.
We tried the iCloud route without success. Turns out it is a google calendar and most of the events were in the trash. But, the events that I entered on my iPhone did not come back to my iPad. Now I need my iPhone to share with my iPad.
I’ll keep searching the web but if you’d like to give me a “shortcut” this old brain would appreciate it.
Margaret: I don't use Google calendars, so I can only guess. If you log on to https://calendar.google.com so you see it there? If so, then maybe it is just a matter of turning on Google Calendars for your Mac again in iCloud settings.
I deleted only one calendar event that I need to recover. I don't know when it was deleted, so I don't want to restore the entire calendar. Is there a way I can find that particular event, since it has some I information I need to capture.
Paul: That's a tough one. I can't think of any easy way to do it. I'd look for another way to get the information you need (calling whomever is involved, etc).
