How Do I Restore a Missing Safari Favicon?

Missing Favicon: some of my bookmarks don’t display the websites favicon. Is there a way to restore them?

I use the favicon to quickly locate a website (vs reading the text to find a website).

Unfortunately, there's no direct way to force Safari to reload missing favicons. Sometimes they come back if you visit the site again, so try clicking the bookmark and letting the page load fully. If that doesn't work, deleting and recreating the bookmark can help. But Safari doesn't give you manual control over favicon caching or refreshing.
