How To Change the Audio Output To iPad Speakers?

I have iPad Pro that I use for my daily activities.

Recently, I bought a USB hub from the Amazon that support Ethernet port. Yesterday, I installed IPTV application to watch some Sports channels. I noticed that when I connect this multiport hub the sounds does not come out of the iPad’s speakers.
I only connect the Ethernet port to the hub.

I am wondering if this is happening due to HDMI support on the hub.

Is there a way to change the sound output on the iPad please?

Try doing this from the Control Center. Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to bring up the Control Center. Then one of the items there shows what audio is playing and has playback controls. At the top right corner of this module you'll see an icon that looks like a triangle with semicircles above it. Tap that to see a list of output devices. Then select the one you want and the audio should switch to it.

It is not possible to select build-in speakers. I think Apple should fix this issue.

Kevin: You should contact Apple Support. Sounds like something is wrong with your iPad.

I have the exact same issue on a new M1 iPad Pro and this solution doesn’t work for me either. The control panel just shows the audio for the hub. The only other option it has is to switch to Apple TV, but I don’t have that and just want to be able to use the internal speakers.

I forgot to mention that the only option around it he issue seems to be using an external Bluetooth speaker.

This is an iPadOS limitation related to hardware audio. Currently you aren’t able to select your preferred output. Can also be problematic when you attach an external audio interface to a hub with a headphone jack
