Hi Gary,
I’ve read that some are experiencing problems with the new iPhone 4, such as bad reception. How are your experiences with it so far? I’m thinking about buying one, but I want to be sure that I don’t regret buying it.
Also, I’m considering the iPad, but I can’t get both the iPhone and iPad (I don’t have the money for both).
I have a first-gen iPod Touch that I use to listen to podcasts and music – it’s fine for that. But when I use it to surf the web I wish the screen was bigger (iPad to the rescue, obviously). But an iPhone would be nice since it integrates iPod + Phone. I have a crappy old Sony Ericsson I only use for making phone calls and texting and would like to upgrade…
Apple makes it really hard to pick just one product. :p I can always save up and buy either one them later, of course.
Oh, before I forget, I don’t have to worry about paying a monthly fee if I were to go with an iPhone (a forced contract is not allowed where I live).
What do you suggest?
Thanks in advance,
Tommy

I haven't experienced too much of a problem with reception. It does do the thing where holding it the wrong way will cause a problem -- but no more so than the reception I got on my old phone.
It is hard to choose devices, yes.
