i just wanna know, if i backup my iPhone through itunes, will my sms messages will be backed up or not??? and i have to change my iPhone in the apple store, so when i get the new one can i restore the sms messages back to my new iphone???????
also, i can access my iphone’s directory, where can i find my sms messages in this directory?

A backup should be complete -- everything on the drive in the iPhone. But I've never tried it to see if the SMS messages are there. I guess they could be on the SIM card, since they are tied to the carrier. Not sure.
Not sure where to find them among the files either.
