Vocalize app iphone headset

I used the iPhone headset on the vocalize app and it started playing up. The headset works on phone calls and then stops ! I can hear but he other person can’t hear me. I used another headset and it works perfectly. Do you think the app must have been the cause of this headset malfunctioning ?

    What type of headset is it? So you have two of these headsets and only one works now? Are they the exact same headset make and model? It sounds to me like one of them simply broke. If they are plain headsets, just earbuds or whatever, then there is no way for an app to "break" a headset.
