Windows 7 to replace Windows XP

I’ve been running Windows XP under Boot Camp. Is replacing that version with Windows 7 as simple as inserting the Windows 7 installation DVD on the Windows side and following the instructions? Would you expect Windows 7 to overwrite Windows XP “nicely?” Thanks.

Yes, I would expect the Windows install CD to "update" your old Windows OS just fine. Won't be able to tell until you try, but I'd be surprised if it didn't.

with 256mb of ram, runs fine. ( I mean Virtual machine!)

All the more reason for owning a MAC computer and not
having to use any Window program.
It's made for serious users of computers.
