Do you mean the first 10 seconds or so of the video?
I recognize that effect, but I don't remember from where. I think it might not be from iMovie (despite what the note on the video says). Perhaps it is from an older version of iPhoto? You can create an animated slideshow like that in iPhoto, and export it as a video. But the current version of iPhoto (11) doesn't have that particular effect.
Why not send a message to the creator of the video?
Yes, that effect. I tried messaging the creator, he said that it is in iMovie, although he does not remember where, as he has not used the program in a while. He instructed me how to replicate it in Final Cut, but I don't have Final Cut. Can I create this type of slide show in iPhoto? Like, something more than just pictures with a Cross Dissolve? That's all I can seem to find in any Youtube tutorials, including your own.
In iPhoto 11 you create a slideshow and choose a theme. The themes are similar to that, but not the same. Or perhaps I didn't look deep enough. Take a look.
I looked at them, there is no theme that is exactly what I need... I need this effect or something else with the pictures moving across the screen.
