I have the older Apple TV where you can actually purchase and store movies. My iMAC also syncs with the AppleTV and saves copies of the Movies. I do not want to keep some of the movies on my iMAC as takes up a lot of memory. How can I change such settings?

I would find the files on your Mac, back them up to an external drive, and then delete them. Don't leave your only copy as the one on the AppleTV as there is no way to back that up.
Thank you Gary!!
Hi Gary,
I back up all of my files using TimeMachine. Quick question, if I delete one of the movies from my iMAC, does the TimeMachine still keep a copy for me to access? (the moves are listed under the hard drive/MUSIC/Itunes/Movies)
Or should I create a separate folder in the back-up drive specifically to hold movies?
Sorry, I am not too technically savvy.
Patrick
Never -- never -- mistake a backup for an "archive." What you want to do is archive the movie. Save it somewhere where it won't get deleted.
Time Machine is a backup. It is for mistakes, hard drive failures and emergencies.
It keeps a copy of everything on your Mac HD, and it keeps many copies of each file going back into time. When a file is no longer there, it will remain in TM if you look at "yesterday." But "yesterday" soon becomes 6 months and eventually TM will no longer have copies of files you have deleted. It doesn't keep an archive of everything you have ever done. It is just a "backup" solution.
I would not use your backup drive for this either. TM drives should only be used for TM -- don't try to add your own files there. Get another drive.
Thank you Gary!
Is their anyway to turn off the voice on apple tv?
The voice? There's no voice -- unless you have enabled the special accessibility "voice over" feature. Did you do that? If so, simply turn it off. This page may help: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4466
