Auto Scrolling a Windows Content From Bottom To Top

At present I drag on the mouse, to move the scroll bar on the mac window.

Is there any way to make this automatic, so I don’t have to keep dragging to move content from the bottom of the window to the top?

With lots of text in a document, it would make reading much easier if you could sit back and read as the text scrolls up automatically.

Making text scrolling automatic probably isn't a good idea. It wouldn't know how fast to scroll. There's no way for your Mac to know when you are done reading what is there and are ready for more. It may move too slow or too fast -- in fact it probably will.
But you don't need to use the mouse to scroll. Depending on which app you are using, you can use the keyboard. The up and down arrows usually work to scroll, as does the spacebar in the case of browsing the web. In some apps you'll need to make sure that the text area is either selected or that the cursor is over it, or both.
So sit back and read without the mouse and use the keyboard to do it.
