Hi Gary,
My 13 inch macbook’s battery life is aweful, it does not seem to hol power for even an hour of normal use. The full charge capacity is 3800 and cycle count in 305.
Can you advice me what is the best way to preserve battery life and is it good to keep it plugged in or not?
thanks

How old is this MacBook? Is it an old model with a swappable battery? How many years old? If it is more than 2 years old, then I'm not surprised that the battery is going. Just get a new one.
If it is a new MacBook with the internal battery, then you should take it in to the Apple Store or call Apple. You should be getting more than 1 hour or life out of it.
Thanks gary,
i have rung apple and they have agreed to replace the battery
