Just finished the iMovie video – very good. Can I annotate onto a video – for instance put an arrow pointing to something? Is the answer to use transparenices or take a screenshot put the image into another programme to annotate then back into the video?

The only good way to put an arrow or something like that into your iMovie project is to create a transparent image and overlay that using picture-in-picture.
I show this in lecture 24 (by "iMovie video" I assume you mean the iMovie course, correct?).
Thanks for your quick response, yes you are correct - I mean your Udemy iMovie course. All the best, Mike
