Creating iPad video in iMovie 09

Does anyone know if iMovie 09 creates video that is made for the iPad? I’ve heard that some Final Cut users have had to re-encode to fix problems.

    I'm pretty sure that any standard "share"d movie from iMovie 09 will work fine on the iPad.
