Just a quick query, I want to add a watermark to my videos, but also want to insert some cutaways, is there a simple way to do this?

You could do a watermark as a picture-in-picture, but not at the same time as cutaways. Probably best to use some pro-level software if you feel you are in the need of a watermark. Or, you could produce the video and then run it through iMovie again as a single large clip with a picture-in-picture watermark over the whole thing.
