Deleting Services that were created

Ok; Question:

I created some services using Automator (Podcast #429). I have gone to /Library/Services and deleted the ones that I don’t want anymore. However, when I go to System Preferences — Keyboard — Keyboard Shortcuts — and then click on the Services icon, they are all still listed there. How do I get rid of them from there. Any ideas. Thanks.

Check again. Are they still there? In the past, I've noticed a delay. If they are still there, they may be gone the next time you restart or logout/login.

I have rebooted once and shutdown once and they are still there.

Interesting. I'm not sure. I'd look around to see if there is another copy somewhere. In the past I've simply removed them and they go away. Do you still have another keyboard shortcut assigned to it? If not, perhaps try adding one and then removing it.

Thanks--I created it again and deleted it and know it is gone.
