Do Words In Different Cells Make the Same Color?

Conditional highlighting affects the cell based on the contents of that cell. It does not allow you to change the appearance of a different cell. You can use some tricks to do different things (see https://macmost.com/use-conditional-highlighting-across-a-whole-row-in-numbers.html) but there are probably also other ways to accomplish what you want.
If I understood what you were actually trying to do, maybe I could suggest something.
