Does Anyone If It’s Possible To Add an iCloud Email Account To an LG Vortex (droid-powered) Phone??

I have had access to my MobileMe email account on my droid-powered phone for better than a year. However, Apple has now moved over to iCloud and I have been told that Droid phones do not support iCloud email access. Is there a way around this???

You should be able to get iCloud email with any device that can use IMAP. Apple provides instructions for setting it up:

Let me know if this works on your phone.

The two messages I regularly receive are "Unable to open connection to server" or "Username or password incorrect". I have tried every single password I can think of (I keep them in an online file) but none of them work - not even the one that works to log in to iCloud.com. Sorry... I am rather thick-headed when it comes to this kind of thing...

First, make sure you are using the one and only right password -- change it if you have to, so you know you have that right. Then make sure you are using the right ID (with the @me.com extension).
If you have both of those right, then ignore the "Username or password incorrect" error -- email clients often say that as a default, when the real reason is that it simply can't connect. So treat it as a "cannot connect" error.
Then just check all of your settings again. If you still can't get it to work, then I guess your device can't access that type of email.
