Graphics with transparent backgrounds into iMovie

how do i get images with a transparent background into imovie? it wont accept .eps

    You'll need to convert them to a bitmap format. PNG works great. Just make sure it is a 32-bit PNG with an alpha channel and that you preserve your transparency.
    Not sure what level you are at or which tools you have, so I'm not sure if you need to know more.
