I’m using a Time Capsule, with an external USB harddrive attached to it, as a main “media server” for the families 4 computers (1 MBP and 3 pc/win7), for gaining access to movies, music etc. That works fine, but now I wish to be able to configure different permission of access to the content for each computer, which doesn’t seem to be possible – except for reading and writing permissions. Is there anyway around that with my current hardware?

What do you mean by "configure different permission of access to the content for each computer." I would think that would mean reading and writing permissions. But you seem to indicate that you want something different.
Sorry, what I meant was that you can either give access to the full archive (the entire disc and those plugged into it) or denie acces. If granting access you can only configure an account as; 1)Write protected or 2)with read and write permissions. I wish to control what each account are able to see and access in the arhcive.
I know there are all kinds of other systems for handling things like that but it but I was hoping to be able to do it with my current merchandise. Or some easy to handle software at the most that works with my current hardware.
I'm considering putting all restricted files into a password protected DMG as an alternative and write protect the disk for other users then myself. The thing is, we're talking about 200 GB of data with more to come in the future. Does this sound like a plausible solution to you?
200 GB of data that only your account should have access to? Why not just get another drive? Hook it directly to your Mac. Or, hook it to the Time Capsule but with different sharing permissions.
I like it better wireless. Free of wires and cables for much better mobility working around the house, and the possibilty for remote access when travelling without carrying around anything but my mac.
I actually have an external harddrive connected to the Time Capsule where the 200 GB is backed up. That's one of the problems. It has to be on the TC too as it is for now. The other problem is that I can't put separate reading permissons for disks plugged into the TC. If I choose to share the TC disk the external harddrive connected to it will be shared as well. In the airport utillity manager I can see the two different disks but the sharing option goes for the whole shebang.
Sounds to me like you may need a more pro solution to handle what you want it to do. You are probably more of an expert at using TC's drive than I am with this experience.
