How Can I Share an ‘automation APP’ I’ve Made, With a Friend?

I followed your tutorial on resizing images, using the automater, which works beautifully btw, and I’d like to send it to a friend, so they can have a copy too
P.s. I’ve learnt so much watching your tutorials, thank you!

You could just send them the resulting app in an email message or share over a server (DropBox, etc). But If the script contains specific hard-coded things, like the path to a director on your drive, then that won't work as they will need to edit it.
So I would send them a "workflow" that they can open and edit in Automator. If you didn't create it as a workflow, you can use File, Convert To to convert it to one.

I tried sending the App as an attachment in an email but when I looked for it, it was greyed out.
So then I tried copy and pasting into a message but when I sent, it resulted in an 'empty' message.
So I tested by pasting it to my own desktop and that worked fine, so I'm a bit perplexed. :-/

Maybe try compressing it first. Make a copy of it on your Desktop. Then Control+Click it and choose "compress."
But the more I think about it, the better the "workflow" option is. It will be a smaller file, and they can edit it if the need to, and it won't trigger any "potential harmful software" alerts on their end, etc. They can always build an app from it using Automator if they need to.
