Having been introduced to the concept of using my iPad as a notepad by a friend, I am now at the stage where I need to choose the appropriate pen for what I want and the associated program that will support my needs.
I currently have an iPad Air.
I’m running the latest version of iPad software issued by Apple.
Apologies if this has been raised before but I am new to the forum concept!
Thank You all who reply,
Sam.

How Do I Decide Which Sylus Pen To Buy for My iPad Air?

Unfortunately, the iPad Air is not compatible with the Apple Pencil. This is a shame, as I hear from artists over and over that the Apple Pencil is the clear winner when it comes to a stylus.
Choosing another brand is your only option. As someone who doesn't draw on their iPad, I can't give you much advice here. I would simply read online reviews and find a stylus that matches your needs and your budget.
Thanks Gary,
Glad I asked!
I'm on vacation in Florida and on my way to buy a new iPad - I'll choose the 256GB cellular iPad Pro - it should suffice!
