How Do I Extract Rows Of Data From a Table?

I have a table with column headings DATE TYPE AMOUNT DESCRIPTION
I would like to create another table that contains only those rows with a specific TYPE. Is there a way to do that? Thanks in advance,

    No need to create a separate table for that. All you need to do is to apply filters. You can turn the filters on and off easily, so you can keep your data in the same table and view it both ways.
