How Do I Find a Font Not Appearing In Pages?

I have followed the directions as best that I am able but I am still not getting the results. I am trying to install Apple Chancery such that I can use the font in pages.

The font is no longer greyed out in the Font Book and I can find the Chancery font in something called “Supplement” I can double click on it but nothing happens.

But when I go to Pages, Apple Chancery does not show up in the list. I have tried to follow the Apple support instructions as carefully as possible, but I am not having much luck.

What am I missing.

I would like to use Apple Chancery in my writing and want to have it installed in my list of fonts in pages.

Yes, use Font Book. I think Apple Chancery is installed by default. Did you get another copy somewhere?

When in Pages, select the text you want to change to Apple Chancery. Go to Format, Font, Show Fonts. Then you get the Font panel. Now switch to All Fonts instead of just English. Then look under Family to find Apple Chancery. Select it to switch the text to that font.

If you want to use that font often, create a Style for it. But it should also now appear at the top of the Pages fonts list along with your other most recently selected fonts.
