How Do I Get Rid Of Partition?

I want to follow Gary’s advice and get rid of the partition on my external HDD that is shared with time machine on my laptop. Should I just reformat after copying the stuff on the partition or is there some way to save the time machine files? Also, how can i send a link to the recent time machine lesson/tutorial?

The best way is always to just erase and reformat the drive. This is the cleanest. In your case it seems possible since once you move the files stored on the one partition, you can erase and start a fresh new Time Machine backup on the newly-formatted drive. You can use Disk Utility to remove the partition, but my results doing that have been mixed.

Not sure what you are asking in your second question. Do you mean a page at MacMost? You can send a link to that page the same way you do any other page. Copy and Paste, or use your browser's sharing function, etc.
