How Do I Keep Screenshots/Pictures With a Paragraph In a Word Processing Document?

In Pages 7.1 Document Body (word processing) on OS High Sierra 10.13.6
I’m fairly new to Pages and working on procedure manuals that contain a lot of screenshots/pictures. What is the proper way to insert them into a document so they stay with the text they belong with? Currently I either drag & drop from an email or put them into photos and drag & drop from there. After I size it to fit and place it where it belongs, in Format, under Arrange, I select Move with Text. Then under Text Wrap I select Above and Below to anchor it to the paragraph. This seems to work pretty well about 95% of the time. But, there are times they won’t stay. Would going through Media be a better way?

The way you are doing it works well. Not sure why you are seeing it not working 5% of the time. Importing the image a different way, through Media, won't make any difference with how images follow text.

I would try to figure out what makes the images that don't work different. Are they the larger images? Smaller? Is there some other setting with those you missed?

Another thing to try is Inline With Text instead of using Above and Below. This places the image at a specific character position in the text, like a letter.
