In watched the video again about using folders to manage photos/videos and really got a lot out of it. I exported a large number of videos. The created AND modified are all today 4/9. I need the create date to be the original. How can I do that when I export? Thanks

How Do I Maintain the “Created Date” When Exporting From Photos?

The original date of the photo remains the same. Don't confuse the file date with the photo date. The photo date is part of the metadata of the photo. You can see it by opening it up in Preview, then choosing Tools, Show Inspector. Then look under "i" and Exif to see the actual photo metadata. As long as you exported the original photo from the Photos app, it should retain this information.
Unfortunately, for video, I'm not sure how this would work. I don't see a way, say in QuickTime Player, to view the equivalent data.
How do I do it? I include the date in the name of the video. A lot of my older video came from camcorders and the like, so there was no accurate time on the video anyway.
"2010-07-04 Fireworks.mp4" and such.
I brought up inspector and there are no "Original" dates. The dates changed to reflect the export.
