How Do I Manage Recipes on a Mac?

How can I best organize and manage recipes on MacBook pro so that I can search for easily?

The first thing I would do is to look at the apps in the Mac App Store. A search turned up a few right away, one with very good reviews.

The other place I would is online. See if there is a recipe management website you can use. More and more the best solutions are online ones, not local apps. An online service could bring a lot of extra value, like being available on all of your devices and even while away from your devices. You may also be able to more easily share recipes with friends.

I'm not familiar with either the apps or online services that do this, so I'll leave it up to you to check them out. Please report back and let us know which one you go with. Thanks.

Far and away the best program I have come across is "PAPRIKA" you can assign a single recipe to multiple headings (of your choice) it will update to your iPhone and sync to an iPad in your kitchen.

I agree. I've used Paprika for a couple of years now and absolutely love it. I got my sister to use it and Paprika makes it easy to exchange recipes.
