I am trying to print address labels (not return labels) from my contact list in Pages using Avery Address labels

If you are trying to print address labels, then use the Contacts app, not Pages. The Print function in the Contacts app has the ability for you to select the label type and print in that format.

However, if you are printing addresses that are not in your Contacts, then using Pages may be the right idea. I'm not sure what you are asking, however. If you have a template from Avery, then use the instructions for that template to format and print the labels.

If you have a specific question, I'll need more details to help. What exactly are you doing so far and why isn't it working?

I would like to print my Christmas mailing list from my Contact file to an Avery 8160 label sheet. When I use my Contact file printer function and select addresses and select Print I have a blank page. I am using HP Office JetPro 8720 printer. I have no ability to select label type at least can't seem to find it. It doesn't matter which apps I am using as long as I can print the labels

Ah, good, so you are trying to use the Contacts app. After selecting the contacts, and using File, Print, then look for "Style." Switch to "Mailing Labels." Then under that, click Layout and then look for Page: and select the type and number. I see Avery 8160 is an option.
