how to avoid ._ files?

Whenever I copy files from my Mac to a Pendrive ou SD Card, I got this bunch of annoying copies of files with ._ prefix.

Gary, is there any way to my mac stopping this behaviour or delete with automator ?

Thanks,
Roberto

You are talking about the DS_Store files and others. They are the directory information files. They store icon position and view settings for the folder. The Mac and Windows OSes do this. On Windows, they are Thumbs.db files.
You can simply use the Terminal to go into these folders and list and delete the .DS_Store files if you wish.
You can also use this command, but I’m not sure it works with Flash drives, just networked disks:
    defaults write com.apple.desktopservices DSDontWriteNetworkStores true
Also, there is a program called BlueHarvest that will do some things like this.
Or, you could just ignore them.

Thanks, Gary! BlueHarvest resolved all my problems.

It's very annoying having several hundreds of pictures, mp3, and other files with this ._ prefix in non-mac OS.
