How To Get a Clear Mac Screen Video On YouTube?

I enjoy drawing scenery pictures on adobe photoshop and have found that I can do onscreen tutorials on youtube. What is the best way of recording your Mac screen (in high quality) and how do I go about publishing the video to YouTube? Will I need a third party application?

There are lots of ways to do it. The simplest and cheapest is to use QuickTime Player in Snow Leopard or Lion. You can record your screen with it. Then just export the movie.
Or, you can spend some money on some excellent screen recording apps. For instance, ScreenFlow (http://macmost.com/j-screenflow) will let you record your screen, audio video (a camera) and then do lots of editing and other features. ANd there are many others too: Snapz Pro, Camtasia, Jing, etc.
Getting a video on to YouTube is just a matter of going through YouTube's web interface and uploading a video using your account.

I have just had a look at Screenflow has Gary recommends. I had a good read of what it can do,but to be quite honest it`s over my head. To take a full screen shot, and a certain part of the screen i just use the two keyboard`s key`s op cmd 3 and 4. Is it just the QuickTime Player 7 or the QuickTime Pro Gary.
