How To Keep Reading List Items for a While

I would like to keep the items in the reading list for a while, once I’ve accessed them once or twice, because I don’t often have time to complete reading them in one go.
Is there a setting for me to keep items in the reading list for one month or more?
Thanks,

Reading list items stay until you remove them. But perhaps you mean you want them to stay in the "unread" section instead of the "all" section? No way to modify that -- it will automatically be removed from the unread section once you have viewed it.
So perhaps in your case only view the Reading List "all" list. That you have complete control over. Things stay there until you select and remove them.
You can Control+click on an item in the all list and "Mark as Unread."

Thanks for your reply - yes that works. I didn't look closely enough before!

I happened to stumble upon this. I have a similar question - I don't often complete reading the items in Reading List at one time as well. How can I make a mark/reference as to where I last left off? Is it even possible?

You mean left off INSIDE the article? That's not a function of reading list. It is just a collection of links.
