How to Password Protect Pages Document?

I’m wondering if there’s a way to password protect a document in Pages. I want to create a document that can only be accessed by me. I don’t want to password protect the entire computer when logging in.

There is no way to password protect the document itself. You can do this in Microsoft Word, though, if you have that.
One way to do it, for any file, is to create a password-protected disk image. See http://macmost.com/protecting-files-with-a-password.html

I think you can open the inspector and check the "require password to open" box.

Yes, you're right Rob. In the Inspector, under the Document tab at the bottom, is that option.
