Image capture on IPad in Portrait Only

I’ve been double clicking home button and “on” button to capture a screen shot for some time. Lately when it imports in to IPhoto it only appears in portrait mode. Very awkward to mail out in that position.

Once you have it in iPhoto, just edit the image and rotate it.

Sorry, Should have explained better. Once the image dumps in the IPad Photo app I would like to be able to forward to someone. For ex: I want to send a shot of a website home page. Every shot lately whether captured in landscape or portrait. imports in portrait mode. Wish I could edit within the Photo app on IPad.

So you want to email to someone before you bring it into iPhoto on your Mac? Just directly from your iPad?
Not sure if there is any solution to that. You can edit photos using third-party apps (Photoshop for one, many others). Not sure if it will solve your problem, though because it may add too many extra steps.
