iPhone not recognizing 801.11g

I have an 801.11g network that my iPhone doesn’t seem to recognize. Works fine on my computer. I can get on it in terms of entering the password, and it shows the IP address and the subnet mask, but nothing else. Any suggestions?

I assume you mean 802.11g, right? The first thing I would try is another network. See if it is the hardware in your iPhone or the network. If it works fine on another network, then maybe try different settings on the base station. But these things are tricky. It is hard for me to give any advice other than "keep at it" or "get a network expert to check it out."
