DiskWarrior does many things. Plus, I haven't used it for years -- haven't needed to. I used to use TechTool Pro more, but I haven't used that in years either. What are you using it for, specifically, and what alternatives are you considering?

I, like a number of others, have found DiskWarrior to help fix problems when nothing else did. I still use it occasionally if things are acting "funny" (slow, responses not as they should be, etc.). I am running El Capitan 10.11.2 on a MacBookPro and DiskWarrior runs fine on it. I know of nothing better - thought I'd tap into your experience which is far broader than mine.
Steve: It is a well-respected app, and it sounds like it works for you, so I would stick with it. For others following this, I would only recommend apps like this if you have a specific problem or are expert-level and find the need for a utility like it.
