Hi Gary,
I was wondering if you were aware of the over-capacity issues and autofill functionality disappearing in the iTunes 10 upgrade? There is further discussions on the Apple forums here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2567845&tstart=0
Any news on a fix release or how to correct the issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
/Jon

I don't have any news besides what you can read there. I'd imagine a fix will come soon. Have you reported the issues to Apple via the feedback form? The more people that report it, the higher of a priority it will become for them.
Ever since I updated to itunes 10.1.1.4 this has been an issue, says that tunes (podcasts) to be sync'ed are too large.
If I sync to the iPod, then it properly resets the capacity.
Eject your ipod...then reconnect it and when it does it's first little sync (I have mine on manually sync music etc) it clears out that over capacity warning.....
(mine had said I was over by 2.3 gig, so I deleted some stuff, and then it said I was 5.6 over!!! WTH?! So, I did the above and it cleared it out... :)
Just upgraded to itunes 10.4.0.80 and now the itunes store will not work at all. All menus and icons are gone. It just tries to connect and the screen for the itunes store goes blank.
Sounds like it can't connect. I'd try the usual: log out/in, restart, etc. Or, re-download iTunes from Apple and re-install it.
Updated to iTunes 10.4 and it claims my songs are over-capacity by 10gb for my iPhone 3GS 32gb. Which is impossible because I only added about 500 songs from my last sync! I removed all of my pictures and videos - and it still claims that my music is over capacity.
