Lion Front row, firefox gesture, restore Snow Leopard

I have just upgraded to Lion.
How do I get gesture back/forward work in Firefox?
Is there a way to get Front Row back in Lion? I use this a lot.
Apple sells the Lion promoting only what’s new, but do not lay out what they have taken out, if only I knew they took out Front Row, I would not have purchased it. I feel cheated. Is there way to restore Snow Leopard and get refund?
And, the main reason I bought Apple Remote was for Front Row, now it goes useless…

Not sure about FireFox -- maybe they need to update Firefox for Lion? Or, maybe the gesture has just changed. Check in System Preferences for the correct gesture (depends on your pointing device) and try it.
Front Row is gone. But there are plenty of third-party software solutions like it.
The fact that Front Row was being taken out has been talked about quite a bit over the last year.

Have you looked at Plex? I think it works with the apple remote and is really slick, maybe better than Front Row.

I have just received an upgrade for Safari for Lion. The changes i have noticed i cannot set my home page, its just a blank screen. You have to click the home page icon, and they have a blocker installed. I uninstalled it straight away.

There is a preference for that. In Safari, Safari Preferences. It is "Open New Windows With" and "Open New Tabs With." There you can set it to blank, home page, and a few other options.
You uninstalled it? So you reverted back to Safari 5.0? Browsers aren't something you should compromise on. They are the front lines for Internet security. I'd always make sure you are running the most recent browser version.
