Need email addresses spelled aloud

In my volunteer work I’ve just had to enter hundreds of email addresses into Excel by hand. Inevitably I’ve made lots of typos. Can you recommend a program that will read them back to me, letter by letter (as opposed to as words) so that I can check against the original paper copy? (Ideally it would be a multi-platform program, as I’m forced to use a Windows machine to do this. However, I could transfer the work to my Mac if needed.) Thanks.

I can't really recommend anything as I haven't used a piece of software like this before. But a quick Google search for "application to read text aloud" shows there is plenty out there.
On a Mac you can just get it to speak the text to you very easily, using the built-in text-to-speech function. But the problem is that it will pronounce the addresses as words, not each letter. You can fix that by placing a space between every letter. Not easy to do, though. I can't think of any way to do it easily.
So you might want to look for other options. Like printing them all out in large type and comparing them that way. Or having another volunteer read them aloud to you. If there are only hundreds and this is a one-time thing, then that will probably take less time and effort than buying a program and getting it to work right.
