Problem with downloading OS 4.0.1

Everytime I try to download the new OS 4.0.1 to my iPhone 3Gs it downloads approx 20MB and then gives an error message and stops.

    Not sure what advice I can give you here. Keep trying? Perhaps there is a problem with your Internet connection? Very hard to say what could be wrong.
    Perhaps try restarting your Internet connection (switch modem off and on, Mac off and on, etc).
