Should I Keep My MacBook Plugged In Always?

I have a MacBook Pro 13 inch 2020 with intel chip , is it necessary to always keep MacBook plugged in or can I remove it from charger also

    It is NOT important to understand the charging cycles of your MacBook. It is a tool. You use it. Don't let it use you.

    If the battery only lasts, as an example, 6 years and 8 months instead of 6 years and 10 months, but you were able to use it when you wanted, where you wanted and how you wanted, then obviously that's the better way to go. You bought the MacBook to get work done, not to spend your time worrying about the battery. People obsess way too much about this.

    Basically, keep it plugged in when it is convenient. Use it on battery when that is more convenient. Obviously the whole point of a MacBook is to be able to use it some of the time from the battery.

    I plug mine in at night when I'm not using it, and during the day when it is on my desk. Otherwise, I use it on battery when sitting around the house or when I'm traveling.
