Split segment Archive?

I would like to take a small video clip (25MB) and send it to friends via email, however email file attachments can only be 10MB (or something close to that). Is there a utility which will create a multi-file zip archive so I can send a few emails with the zip segments? Also, the segments should be able to be put together on Mac/Windows platform.

Any suggestions?
Thank You

That's the wrong approach. Even if you figured out how to do it, then they would have to figure out how to combine them on the other end. That would take some know-how and software.
A better approach is to not attach the video at all. You would still have to send, and they would have to receive, 25MB of data. Even if it is across several emails. It might get around this one limitation, but it might take you a while to upload and them a while to download. It might fill their inbox, which may have a total size limit for all incoming mail too.
There are better ways. Two suggestions:
Upload the file to MobileMe iDisk, or to DropBox (free).
Upload to YouTube. Make it a private video if you like and only share the password with those friends.

Gary, you avoided the question. Is there some utility to create a split segment archive? This is something that can be used to archiving data to DVD or any other medium.

You can use something like StuffIt Deluxe to do that, I believe. But please take all my other points into consideration and don't do it this way.
