Hi Gary,
I was just wondering,
I was thinking of upgrading my 3rd generation iPod Touch to the 4th generation due to the addition of the camera’s.
Do you think it is worth it?

It is difficult to answer "worth it" questions. I don't know your needs and budget. If you love your iPod Touch and use it all the time and $230 is pocket change to you, then definitely yes. You see what I mean?
Just comparing the two: you have a much faster processor, the retina display, and two cameras. Keep in mind these are both video cameras, not still picture cameras. The one on the back won't take 5MP photos. It is a different camera.
What do you mean it is a different type of camera? It can't shoot still photos?
The camera on the iPhone does:
-- Video recording, HD (720p) up to 30 frames per second with audio
-- 5-megapixel still camera
-- LED Flash
The camera on the iPod Touch does:
-- Video recording, HD (720p) up to 30 frames per second with audio
-- Still photos (960 x 720)
-- NO Flash
So you can still take photos, but they are very low quality. They are 960x720 (less than 1MP), versus the iPhone's 5MP (2592x1936)
camera. So you can't really use the photos for much besides posting to the web or something. Not good enough for print.
Thank you Gary!
