How do I find top sites on my iPhone as I have it on my Mac?

There really isn't a "top sites" feature in mobile Safari. Top Sites is when you see updated previews of a small selection of frequently visited or pinned sites. It used to be the default new window/tab screen on Mac Safari, but I think it is only an option now, and the default is just your favorites and recently visited sites.
Mobile Safari on iPhone does do the favorites and recently visited sites, just like on the Mac, each time you create a new tab/window, or when you simply select the address field and haven't started typing yet.
I don't think there ever was a Top Sites function on the iPhone, come to think of it. But I could be wrong there. It would make sense for there not to be Top Sites on the iPhone as loading a whole bunch of websites simultaneously for the previews would mean a lot of used bandwidth and that would be bad if you are using mobile data.
