What Cables Are Needed To Connect My MacBook To a Projector?

What cables do I need to run a projector during a Zoom meeting? The meeting will be a hybrid with people in the room and some on Zoom.

Meeting will have people in the room and some attending remotely via Zoom software.

Hard to say without knowing more about your Mac and the projector. What model MacBook you do have and what ports does it have? What project do you have and what connections does it accept? HDMI, hopefully.

If you have a recent MacBook with Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) connectors, and the project is HDMI, then a simple USB-C to HDMI connector is all that is needed. Search Amazon for "usb-c to hdmi" and you'll see many of those. You don't need a hub, just a simple cable. They run around $15 or so.

I have a 2012.5 macbook pro. What cables would I need to attach to an external LCD TV. Thanks

Ken: So which ports do you have? My guess is you have a MiniDisplay Port (Thunderbolt 1 or 2) port. And what ports does your TV have? Maybe a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable would be it, but it is impossible for me to know for sure without the details. Basically just get a cable that connects to your Mac on one end (whichever ports you have) and TV on the other (whichever port that one has).
