Why Is iCloud Email Not Pushing To My iOS Devices?

I have an @me.com email address that I have setup in iCloud on my iPhone 4. I had this same email address setup the same way on my iPhone 4 before upgrading to the iOS 5 and had no problem receiving my emails immediately. Now they will not push and sometimes it’s hours before I get my email. I have read that keeping the email app open in the background helps, but that seems to fail as well. MobileMe push worked with no problems, but iCloud me.com email is not pushing as it should even though my settings are setup correctly.

So it works, but it just takes some time? Perhaps the iCloud servers are just having some issues at the moment. I've noticed with MobileMe and iCloud that sometimes it does take hours to get an email, even though most of the time it comes quickly.
I would wait a day or so and see if things improve. But the fact that you are getting the messages means that everything must be set right and working when it comes down to it.

    I have the same problem.
It seems that sometimes rebooting your iPhone solves it. But in time it always fail to push email even with the fetch option on.

I hope Apple can fix this because I use my email to all my work and contacting my family.
