I've been trying to learn more about why some screens and cameras are better than others, by reading up on HDR and Color Gamut.

Thanks Gary--this was interesting. The main reason I purchased an M1 MBP several years ago was for the XDR display. I love seeing photos taken by my iPhone in HDR on that screen. I have found that if I edit the photos in something like Affinity Photo, it looses the HDR range and becomes SDR and much less interesting to me (I don't know if that change with the recent v3 update). The Photos app does keep the full HDR range when editing. Thanks Gary!
