A surprise new feature in macOS Tahoe is a tiny little checkbox in the View Options for Column View in the Finder.

I think the option was available through a `defaults` Terminal command and third-party apps like TinkerTool. But it is always nice when Apple exposes such settings natively.
I have been using column view a lot in the past and enabling this option was really a game changer for me.
