Apple’s new Mac Pro computer is now available for order at the Apple website. The companion Pro Display XDR is also available. Delivery estimates are given at one to two weeks.
The new Mac Pro starts at $5,999 and includes an 8-core 3.5GHz Intel Xeon W processor, 32GB of memory and an AMD Radeon Pro 580X with 8GB of memory. You can order it with a larger and faster processor, more memory, a larger hard drive and faster graphics cards to drive the price above $50,000.
The Pro Display XDR costs $4,999 without a stand and is pretty much the only 6K-resolution screen on the market. Both the display and the Mac Pro are meant for Mac users with the most demanding workflows.
