Club MacMost Exclusive: Using the New Current App Shortcuts Property

In iOS 18.2 you can now get the current app and use it in an If statement. This can be handy in creating Action Button shortcuts that do different things depending on which app is open.

    Sir, I’ve been trying to write a shortcut to shut down and restart my iPhone, but can’t seem to get there. Would you have written one, or can assist? Thank you!

    George: Not sure you can. Have you tried using the "Shut Down" action and then set it to "Restart?" That would be the only way to do it if it is allowed.
